I missed this post but am excited for all this new stuff and have already been enjoying the essays! I will miss the sports, it helped me sound smarter talking to my sports friends. I will not miss the jabs (see above post) about my beloved Alma Mater Clemson. Regardless, I’m here for all the Knox content and wish Jason well, even if he hated my team (and I know we deserve some of it but from a Notre Dame fan, come on!). Thanks for all the hard work you put in and can’t wait for the new content!
I also wanted to say thanks for all the amazing OUA content - it was also my favorite of the Popcast offerings. There are already so many NFL-related week 1 things I would have loved to hear you & Jason break down. If you ever find the bandwidth to bring back an OUA season 2, I will scramble to be the first to support! I also have noticed & appreciated you bringing a little sports corner to the Popcast lately, which will help a little :) I think in general, my interests/tastes align with yours the most out of the 3 PMG hosts (with the possible exception of when Erin goes off on Tudor England).
I cannot express how sad I am not to have OUA anymore; it was the only one my son would listen to with me and we ESP loved the Survivor recaps!! Maybe one day it can return?? Thanks for all your fun creative offerings:)
Super duper sad to see OUA go. It was kinda sorta my favorite of the Popcast offerings. Would you want to add a sports corner to the Popcast? There’s just far too much content for us not to hear from Coach Knox 😕 Could call it Koach K’s Korner. Coach Me Up? Knox Knows Ball? Extra Point? You can whiteboard it 🤗
I will definitely begin trying to sneak some sports into the episodes. I know the core audience may not be interested, but I'll try to keep it spicy enough to be relevant.

I have been so confused about what happened to OUA. The podcast stopped updating ages ago, I never received a newsletter or notification with any info, it feels like neither Jason W nor OUA has been spoken of on the Popcast in a while, and then I got this newsletter. I searched for a while and finally found a short podcast ep from only Knox a few weeks ago, and now I'm so sad.
I must have also missed where everyone talked it out, but add me to the list of those who will REALLY miss hearing you guys. I hope all is well with Jason. (Perhaps I missed a lot not being able to join the AUAs/ read the chats?)
Of course, will continue to support here! (And hope maybe one day OUA will resume :)) Excited for you and your new audio adventures.
Watching the first weekend of college football was so sad knowing I wouldn’t be hearing you and Jason break it all down. The downfall of Bama and no commentary from y’all on it?!!! The saddest. So excited for what’s to come though!
Shelf Respect doesn't show up in my podcast app at all. Is it only in specific places? I know it doesn't launch until tomorrow, but usually you can add new podcasts a bit early. I don't want to miss anything!

As for the billing on this newsletter, it has been paused for the last three months as I waited to see where things landed with OUA and paused months don't count against the annual subscribers. Essentially, you get 12 BILLED months, so any paused months do not count towards those 12 billed months and it just extends out until you do receive 12 total months of paid content. Does that make sense?
Oh, thank you! That makes perfect sense. I hate to be “that person “ but I would like a refund then. I think Shelf Respect would be more to what I want to put money towards.
