This was honestly one of the most encouraging things I’ve read in a long time.

I lost my job a couple of weeks ago and it KNOCKED THE WIND OUT OF ME.

Thank you for sharing your story of before the popcast. I can’t imagine it without what both you and Jamie bring to the table and can see how God brought y’all together at just the right time and I’m so thankful.

It has brought so much goodness to my life over the last five years. (I listened to the Bible binge for the first time on my way to a Christmas Shane and Shane concert in December of 2018 😂😂)

I always love being reminded that how we arrive at the place God has for us is not usually (dare I say, not ever?) a straight shot. As an English/ELA teacher, I also love all of your references to things I teach (conflict is key to every story; show, don’t tell) and I’m going to use the Bluey episode you referenced a while back when I teach Joseph Conrad’s stages of a hero’s journey.

I was having a conversation about manifestation the other day. I argued that manifestation was just a desire backed up by a lot of hard work. Your essay proves my point!

This week I read Bad Summer People by Emma Rosenblum. If you have a distaste for unlikeable characters skip this one. The summer people are bad.

I also read Pineapple Street by Jenny Lawson. Like Bad Summer People, it centers on the uber rich, but this group have morals and a conscience.

I'm hardly the first one to say this, but I would pay big money for The Golden Moon Buffet & Xtra Bacon Network - some sort of Popcast brunch type thing maybe, with the common food theme? Congrats on 10 years!!
