As a University of Houston basketball fan, what really helped me was remembering at the end of the day, whether my team won or lost wasn’t going to make a huge difference in my life. Sure, the next day it would be a little easier to have some pep in my step but ultimately the outcome didn’t need to dictate how I handled the days following. I will also admit I avoided all discussion about the game for a bit afterwards - podcasts, social media, etc. Sorry for your loss!

Buying my first house! Will have no money after that deposit for repairs and updates. What are your opinions on DIY fixes and updates, like painting walls or adding tile?
