The Jon Snow Game of Thrones Spinoff No Longer in Development.
I guess you could say HBO’s enthusiasm for it….. (puts on sunglasses David Caruso from CSI-style)….melted.
This one kinda felt obvious because no one could coherently speculate on what a good, 3 WEEKS AFTER THE EVENTS OF THE FINALE premise should be.
Jon killed his girl to prevent genocide and handed off the realm to his brother, Bran the Broken, which, in terms of just optics, turning down the Iron Throne and instead giving it to a guy with “Broken” in his name IS A VIBE not because of ableism, everyone relax, but just because if anyone anywhere finds out that the big kahuna person in charge is commonly referred to as “The Broken,” that’s just bad for business vibes, babes, I don’t know what to tell you!
It would be like Bob Iger leaving Disney and handing it off to Machine Gun Kelly. The problem is right there in the name, Bob! Don’t do it! Choose Dana instead!

Broadcast Networks and Cable TV Sending a Letter Asking Biden and Trump to Commit To Debates
First, can I just say it’s the most boomerest thing ever to send a formal letter out of frustration. Beloveds, the last letter to matter was written from jail by MLK Jr in 1963.
So when you are writing to the CEO of Takis about your distaste for the spice blend and heat index in whatever bag of their “chips” that you purchased, I want you to look down at your sentiment, your prose, your elevated syntax. Does the matter and your articulation of it match Dr. King’s? If not, (lol it def didn’t) then maybe don’t send the letter?
But as to this issue, I’m torn. On the one hand, watching incoherent elder men argue is routinely entertaining (as proven by late-stage Pardon the Interruption episodes).
On the other hand, do I REALLY want to watch an Orange Bellicosity match wits with Senility Made Manifest?
TBH, I’d rather watch them compete on Is It Cake? and a very, very tamped-down version of Wipe Out.
Ryan Seacrest Set To Take Over Wheel of Fortune
Uhhhhhh lowkey and highkey completely forgot about this. Not sure how I felt about it before, but I’m confident I didn’t like it then, and even more so now.
For the record, I still stand by what I wrote in The Wondering Years about Pat Sajak and Wheel of Fortune…
